After the date
Feedback says how the date went, decides whether you meet again, and earns sparks.
You can give feedback as soon as the date has ended, 1 hour after the start. If you have not answered, a reminder comes the next day at about 12:00, if it is on in Settings. Feedback can be given once.

At the top is the date it is about. The first question is How did the date go?, and your answer decides what comes next. When the date went well, we ask whether your date matched what you were hoping for, what clicked between you, what the booked place was like and whether you would like to meet them again.
If the date went badly, we ask next whether you felt safe on the date. See Safety.
The question about the place is optional, and it lets you say The place was closed or full. Your feedback goes with your last answer, and you are back on the Dates page, where you see the sparks you got.
- What happens to your answers. Only Pilke’s staff see your answers. The only thing that can reach your date is your phone number, and only in the way described below.
- Sparks. Your feedback gets you 2 sparks when the date happened or your date did not turn up. Each of you gets your own once you have answered. See Sparks.
Meeting again
When the date went well, we ask last Would you like to meet your date again? It has three answers: Yes, and my phone number may be shared with them, Yes, but only through Pilke and No. What follows depends on what you both say:
- You both share your number. Your phone numbers are exchanged. You are both told, and the number appears in your date history.
- You both say yes, but at least one of you only through Pilke. No numbers are exchanged. You can become candidates for each other again.
- Otherwise nothing is shared, and neither of you learns what the other answered.
Saying no and not answering look the same to the other person.
If the date did not happen
When you answer How did the date go? with The date didn’t happen, we ask what happened.
- My date didn’t turn up. We record it for Pilke’s staff, and your feedback gets you 2 sparks. A cooldown follows only from the report you make during the date, at the venue. See The day of the date.
- I couldn’t make it. You can say what got in the way. This feedback brings no sparks. Next time you know you cannot make it, call the date off in the app straight away, so your date’s time is freed. See Cancelling and cooldowns.
Date history

Date history 1, the last row on the Dates page, opens a list of the dates you have been on, newest first. Cancelled dates and dates where someone reported from the venue that the other did not turn up are left out.

Each row has your date’s photo and name, and when and where you met. If you exchanged numbers, the number is on that date’s row 1. Press the number to send it a text message, or press anywhere else on the row to copy it. If your date has deleted their account, the row reads Deleted user.
If something went wrong
If you felt unsafe on the date, or want to tell us how your date behaved, you can tell us in your feedback. See Safety.
